Situated near a wildlife park, the 4-star Zuurberg Mountain Village Addo hotel is nearly a 10-minute drive from the Doringnek and boasts 2 outdoor tennis courts. Comprising 29 rooms with views of the valley, this Addo hotel offers a restaurant.
The air-conditioned rooms at the hotel are furnished with a writing table and feature a minibar fridge, coffee and tea makers. There is also an en suite bathroom. The spacious bathrooms include a roll-in shower and a separate toilet, along with a hairdryer and shower caps.
Every morning, a free breakfast is served at the Zuurberg Addo. The à la carte restaurant overlooks the mountain and pampers guests with South African dishes. There is also a lounge bar.

The spacious room was a delightful surprise, featuring underfloor heating that kept us cozy during the cooler evenings, and a lovely sitting area that provided the perfect spot to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Addo Elephant Park. The attention to detail in the amenities, including an electric kettle and free toiletries, made our experience even more comfortable. Coupled with the stunning surroundings and impeccable service, particularly from Alexandra, Zuurberg has truly earned its place as one of our favorite eco-resorts in South Africa, and we eagerly anticipate our return.
